The Body Shop: Vitamin E Hydrating Toner Review

When I got my membership card, I got 2 products, free from them – the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner and Vitamin E Moisture Cream. What I love about The Body Shop, they tend to be generous in giving away stuff rather than to those other brands I’ve been to.

This is what The Body Shop has to say about the toner:

A hydrating toner that removes traces of cleanser, dirt and make-up without drying the skin, leaving it feeling soft, supple and refreshed. It leaves a velvety feel on the skin.

Since I got this for free, I can’t provide you its cost. Though their website says its $12.50 for the full size (200ml). I only got 60ml. Not bad for being free. It didn’t come like those really small free Korean skin care bottles, than can last 3-7 days only. This lasted for a month.

The toner comes in a transparent liquid. It’s actually oilier than my toners. This has a mild scent, which I find quite relaxing. It didn’t irritate my nose, though those with sensitive noses may want to take a whiff of this first prior to buying.

Upon application, you will find it as hydrating due to its oiliness. At least, it doesn’t sting on the skin. Toner doesn’t evaporate quickly after application. My combination loved and hated it at the same time. I’ve tried this for 2 weeks, and had to stop since I had this growing red bump on my oily section. The drier parts of my skin loved this, though. And because of the bump, I had to give it away to my mom. Since she had drier to normal skin, she loved this.

I don’t see myself purchasing this. But for combination types on a dry weather (winter), they might probably enjoy this since it is mild on the skin (doesn’t sting or give you this tingly feel). Weather’s very humid from where I’m coming from. Drier and older skin types might find this a good buy.

Oh, I still love The Body Shop! 🙂 I do have good buys from them.
