Nature Republic: Shine Blossom Rose Blusher in #03 Pink Rose Review

Hello again! It’s been ages since I last posted, but it doesn’t mean I haven’t been trying stuff. I may have not been hauling make-up for this year, but my focus was on food! And because of that, I did gain some weight. ūüė¶ But my post today isn’t about food. Still about make-up!

One of my hauls in Nature Republic was the Shine Blossom Rose Blusher. I picked the #03 Pink Rose just because the SA said it was the best seller among the blushers.???????????????????????????????

Read below to know more about it!

Here’s the description from the box:

Shine Blossom Rose Blusher makes your skin more feminine with romantic rose color and perfume.

How to use: As the last step of makeup, apply an appropriate amount onto the cheek using a puff and gently touch the skin.

The blusher is encased in a small, cute tin can. It¬†comes in with a cute puff (which is pretty useless). However, there’s this transparent plastic that separates the blusher from the puff. Packaging-wise, I think this is so cute! I can reuse the tin for other stuff when I’m done with the makeup. I got this for P460 ($10.28) from their mall store. For a 6.5 gram product, ¬†this isn’t so bad. However, you might get it cheaper from resellers online or from relatives straight from S.Korea. It comes in 4 colors:¬†01 Baby Rose, 02 Coral Rose, 03 Pink Rose and 04 Lovely Rose.

It has a rose scent. It’s a bit strong, so for those with sensitive noses might need to think twice. But I don’t think you’d go sniffing this always from the tin. On the face, it is¬†still has an old rose scent but it eventually disappears.

???????????????????????????????Color wise, it’s not that pigmented. For those who prefer a lot of color, this might be a turn-off. But you may opt for a darker shade, perhaps the #04 one? For those who prefer natural flushed look, this is good. It offers a light color on your cheeks – that light flush, but it can be built up when you’d put 2-3 coats. The color is lovely for fair skinned people, but those with darker/warmer skin tones may opt to think twice. However, please use a brush than the puff that came along with this. It may be cute but you get better color from a brush than of a puff. ¬†It ‘s very easy to blend and sets quite nicely.¬†It may look matte inside the tub, but don’t let it fool you! It is velvety on skin. This lasts for around 4 hours or so on your cheeks.

I didn’t experience itchiness when ¬†I had this on nor caused me breakouts which is love! (I’m a normal to combi skin)

Will I recommend this? For fair skinned folks who don’t mind the scent and wants a natural finish, this a good product. But if you’re warmer/darker skin tone, and scent-sensitive, you might need to think twice. Again, the puff is pretty useless so prepare your blush brush!
