It’s day 63 of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in my country due to COVID-9. While the whole world waits for the vaccine, a grand majority of us is in our homes, trying our best not to overwhelm our health care system more. With this comes with work arrangements for us to be working from home. Being work from home has its perks:
Savings in time from my daily drive. Nope, didn’t miss the traffic – not even one bit. Imagine, 1.5-2hrs of rush hour traffic, one-way for 9-12 km! It’s insane.
I get to sleep longer since I don’t need to wake up so early – like 4:30AM early for work. My daily drive and prep adds to my sleep time which is awesome.
Savings from gas. I think I saved around $23.53 per week, or that’s been around $211.76 in total
I get to eat meals with my family. In fact, I also get to eat meals on-time regularly and healthy snacks.
I don’t have to think what to wear daily – except when I have video conferences.
With gaining time, I managed to clear out my closet, drawers, and room.
Also, I get to consistently do my skin care routine. I get to regularly do facial masks now!
Speaking of skin care, my holy grail quarantine skin care are:
Photo does not include yet the mask and facial cleansers, masks! If I will count the number of steps I have, in total, I have around 13 steps? But I don’t do all 13 everyday
I was out today to do some adulting errands (car maintenance), so I was in Eastwood killing my time. I spent it as reading, eating (no dinner from last night, no breakfast and it was lunch), roaming around the mall and movies.
Will I was on my way to watch Alita, I came across this store:
Out of sheer curiosity, I came in and I was mind-blown! I met one of the owners herself!
Good Day! And a belated Happy New Year to you! I missed posting for say…. 4-5 months? I’ve been busy with a lot of stuff like work, personal life, and gaming. Come to think of it, I’ve been going out a whole lot less lately due to gaming. Hehehe.
So to start of with the my first post of the year right, I’d go to the product I love dearly. It’s Benefit’s the POREfessional Primer.
I came across this over my fave make-up blogger years back. I got so curious so I asked a friend of mine to get me a set with this primer and their popular tint in the US. And the rest is history.
Gah~~~ I am supposed to write a ton of work-related stuff but I can’t seem to get the ball rolling. I was dozing off. Blame my extreme gaming schedule during weekends! I spent the weekend running around with Faerie Law (FL) in the new maps and in WvW. This is the guild I just joined recently. I think I did mention it in my last post. We captured our Guild Hall after a few attempts (around 3-4 times last Friday, while getting it the first time last Saturday). Anyway, I’ll write about our Guild Wars adventures, plus the first expansion (after 3 years!) of Guild Wars 2 on a different post. I hope it won’t be too far off.
But to keep my creative writing juices up, I figured I should do a product review. A LONG overdue one.
One thing I hate about mascaras is the need to purchase one every 3 months. They shouldn’t be sitting in your drawers, bags, whatever, more than that. Before dropping home, I decided to go to the mall to pick up a mascara. Had to say good bye to my Benefit Mascara and replace with a new, fresh mascara. I picked up Majolica Majorca’s Lash King in Brown 666!
Why brown? Why not deep black? Shouldn’t mascaras match your hair color? What’s wrong with the number ? To find out, continue reading!
Ginger in my food. Ginger in my cup. Now, ginger as a scrub? Strange?
Some like it hot, some like cold. Some like it in a pot, 5 days old. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with that nursery rhyme. I think it had something to do with the porridge. In any case, that poem was running in my head as I use this: Ginger Body Scrub from North Haven Spa in Baguio!
Good Day to my readers! I’m rather pre-occupied right now, but I feel I need to find my a quiet space despite where I am. So here I am, creating a post. 🙂
One of my Nature Republic hauls, I bought Photoshot 3D Concealer in #23 Natural Beige. Why? I was all in a rage before in concealers, all thanks to my panda-like eyes. I consider my panda eyes as my gaming battle scars and from allergies.
Hello! It’s been wild for the last few days. I did create a schedule of sorts for my day, unfortunately, it was never followed. Le sigh~
During one of my work-related trips, I landed in the summer capital of the Philippines – Baguio! I REALLY WANTED TO GO THERE JUST BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER. I love the cold weather, the fog, the fact that I will wear a nice jacket, be cozy under the covers, and the picturesque sight of the mountains. So when I saw Baguio was in the list of places to be assigned to, and as destiny may have put it, placed me there, I was so happy! I will definitely not trade my cold and cozy spot there over a hot, humid, view of the sea. It’s been 3 years since I last went to Baguio. As I type this, I am dreaming to go back there.
Before going back to Manila, we passed by North Haven Spa quickly (15 minutes-quick), and I hauled the scrubs they have. Ha! I wished to extend my stay, but call of duty. I headed back to Manila with the team, as scheduled.
Among the 4 scrubs I bought, the first scrub I tried is one of their new ones – Strawberry Jam Scrub!
Yum! Strawberry yum! But is it as yummy on the skin as well?
Hello again! It’s been ages since I last posted, but it doesn’t mean I haven’t been trying stuff. I may have not been hauling make-up for this year, but my focus was on food! And because of that, I did gain some weight. 😦 But my post today isn’t about food. Still about make-up!
One of my hauls in Nature Republic was the Shine Blossom Rose Blusher. I picked the #03 Pink Rose just because the SA said it was the best seller among the blushers.
