Benefit: the POREfessional Primer Review

Good Day! And a belated Happy New Year to you! I missed posting for say…. 4-5 months? I’ve been busy with a lot of stuff like work, personal life, and gaming. Come to think of it, I’ve been going out a whole lot less lately due to gaming. Hehehe.

So to start of with the my first post of the year right, I’d go to the product I love dearly. It’s Benefit’s the POREfessional Primer.

I came across this over my fave make-up blogger years back. I got so curious so I asked a friend of mine to get me a set with this primer and their popular tint in the US. And the rest is history.

Note to reader: This is a picture-heavy post.

Lush: Double Choc Lip Tint Review

Hi everyone. As of the late, I have been trying to bring back my habit of posting. Trying and failing miserably. And I know I have a TON of backlogs. Now that the -ber months are rolling in, sales are just around the corner.

Speaking of sales, I purchased this little number from one of those exclusive sales. Meet my Lush Double Choc Lip Tint. I got this I think years back. This is part of my series of backlogs.

A chocolate lip tint?!?!?! Is this a dream come true for those wishing for chocolate in make-up?

Haru’s Product Haul: February – March 2014 (The Body Shop, Tony Moly, Missha, Etude House, Skinfood, EOS, Stilla and Victoria’s Secret)

A gloomy summer day everyone! It’s been EXTREMELY HOT here on my side of the planet for the last few weeks. And today, as I came home from work, it’s very gloomy – for summer, at least. It’s been raining like cats and dogs on the other parts of the country. But here in one of the CBD’s, it’s been scorching. So it’s very nice to have a cloudy/gloomy morning, once in a while. I know a lot of yo would trade in your Gotham City for my city. Summer’s such a perfect beach weather, except that you’re not in the beach. Aww. 😦

And another way to brighten up one’s make-up fan day is with a haul!

Smashbox: Try It Kit BB + Halo in Light/Medium

I was browsing over at some of favorite bloggers in the make-up world when I came across the fact that Smashbox released a kit composed of its good travel sized make-ups last Holiday 2013. I was so excited!

This led me to coming over to the Beauty Bar. And look at my catch!

Smashbox’s Try It Kit Halo + BB in Light/Medium!

Note: This is not a review post for the items inside, but more for the kit.

Haru’s Product Haul: August – November 2013 (Tony Moly, The Body Shop, Benefit and Shu Uemura)

Off blog, work has been strenuous. So strenuous that I don’t get a chance to post.

And I even didn’t get to celebrate my birthday that much. I didn’t even feel the Christmas cheer, except the sale, Christmas rush and the cold breeze. Sigh! I NEED a break.

And because of my stress, I have been taking advantage of the sales. Yehey Christmas Season!

Maybelline: Dream Mousse Concealer in Ivory Review

One of the items I bought way back from this megatrade hall sale was this very popular concealer, who was discontinued months back.

Yes! This is Maybelline’s Dream Mousse Concealer.

Product Haul: March – June 2013 (Etude House, Missha, Nature Republic, The Body Shop and Benefit)

I know, I know. I’ve been so absent lately. So long hiatus in posting here! It’s not that I’m lazy. I’m so swamped with work for since April til June, with my long-awaited promotion is in jeopardy. It’s a make-or-break, so I had to allocate time.

But since I’m in somewhat calm waters right now (or burned out to do anything), I’ve decided to finally post. When I wasn’t posting, it doesn’t mean I’m not trying out stuff. I did try a lot of stuff (which adds more backlog than I already have). And I hauled. A LOT. Last haul I posted was last January, which makes such a good time to show my hauls since March til June.

The Body Shop: Vitamin E Cool BB Cream Review

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share this item with you today. Even if I had loads of items have to do. And the backlogs that should go here first than this item. But I just had to share it just now!

Yesterday noon, I received an invitation via SMS from The Body Shop. Yes, I am a LYB (Love your body) member so I get these a lot. But this one was an invitation to take home The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Cool BB Cream. All I had to do was reply a “yes” and to which location. They cited 2: SM Megamall for today while Trinoma for tomorrow. So of course I said yes since I’m so near Megamall!

So now, here it is!

Sunplay: Super Block SPF 130 PA +++ Review

How are you everyone? I know, I know I haven’t been posting much reviews lately. My paying job is requiring more from me. But I’ve been trying a lot of stuff that will interest you behind the scenes. All good!

Since it’s still cold in the northern hemisphere, I bet most of you are thinking of your summer getaway – beaches, sun and tan. Add coconut trees in the background too. But before you hit the beach, ensure that your skin is protected.

And this is what I brought with me when I went to the beach last December. Look at that SPF and PA value!

The Body Shop: Olive Oil – Dry Oil Mist Review

If my face is combi (oily/normal or normal/dry), the rest of my skin would be dry to extremely dry. In fact, it’s so dry that you can write your name on it. So moisturizing is very important. But as I had told you previously, I am very lazy when it comes to moisturizing most of the time.

One of the products I used since way back was The Body Shop’s Olive Oil – Dry Oil Mist. And this is all thanks to my mom.

So when the store had a sale, I just had to grab this. Hello, 40% off!
